This has been our 5th trip to Beagle Point and it has never disappointed. Whether it’s a short stay or a couple weeks, we will always choose Beagle Point as our place to stay in Melbourne Beach. The property is perfect inside and out. There is something to do for everyone including our dog. You can fish, kayak, stand up paddle board or just relax by the pool all from the back yard. Dolphins are there to greet you every morning right off the dock. The owners are available for any questions and have been extremely accommodating for any needs we may have. The house is well equipped for day to day life, all you need is your bathing suit and yourself then you can let the good times begin. Beagle Point has been the location of many great memories for my family and we look forward to many more in the years to come.  Published Sep 29, 2021

Beagle Point Paradise

Beagle point is an amazing piece of property and a slice of heaven in a gem of a town! If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation Melbourne Beach is it. If you are looking for a beautifully decorated, comfortable home that lacks for nothing on a gorgeous piece of property with an amazing view Beagle Point is it! The house was better than described. Never felt like it was a rental as all household items were not cheap like you typically find in most vacation rentals so it was very easy to settle in a feel like you were home. Some favorite things to do were to grab a cup of coffee to wake-up on the dock in the AM and grab a glass of wine at sunset and watch the dolphins or manatees in the PM. Unfortunately, not a single Beagle sighting! :) The pool after a day paddle boarding the chain of canals surrounding the property, after a trip to Sebastian Inlet or down to McKee Gardens in Vero. The Mclarty Treasure Museum was also pretty cool. This was an awesome trip, a fantastic house and no doubt we will be back. Miss it already!  Published Sep 18, 2021

A great week with kids and grandkids

Stayed Jul 2021

The photos do not do this property justice! It was a fantastic week - within our first few minutes we were greeted by a pod of dolphins playing by the boat dock. The kids were amazed and I must admit the adults were amazed too. The next day we meet a manatee and her cub. The wildlife was a bonus we watched a snake bird eat fish every morning, the lizards and the many birds.

The area is beautiful not all built up with t-shirt shops on every corner. It was nice to see open space on the water and not a lot of high rise hotels. A very quiet and peaceful community.

The house was perfect - it provided us with the prefect amount of space for everyone. We ate together and played together in the pool must days. I used Instacart and had our groceries delivered minutes before we pulled up to the house. Instacart also delivers adult beverages! We only ate out once the house was so nice we just enjoyed our time there and we did not want to have to get three kids dressed and ready for dinner after all day playing in the pool.

We only spent one day on the beach the waves were a bit rough for our grandkids - but they enjoyed playing in the sand and collecting seashells. Also there were 14 people at the beach including our group of 7 so nothing like what I expected. Also the weather was 15 degrees cooler than the weather at home - never thought that Florida would be cooler and less humid than Maryland in July!

Couple of things you should know before you go -

BUG SPRAY - the no-see-em's were terrible. The kids had bug bites everywhere. We had brought three cans of bug spray with us and we went thru all three of them. On Thursday we went on a nature boat ride and the captain recommended Andiroba oil but it was too late to order for the trip but when I got home we all rubbed it on all of our bites and it was instant relief. So take some with you and lather it on before you head out for the day.

It took a little getting use to not using the normal water faucet for cooking - there is a smaller faucet with filtered water, ruined a few pots of pasta.

Overall our stay was perfect. Bill could not have been a more perfect host and all of the boating neighbors spoke to us as they passed the dock. One nice lady told us about the area and what we could do with the children. It was a very relaxing, much needed getaway with the grandkids. Both of our granddaughters learned to swim in the pool. Lots of great memories were created there.  Published Aug 2, 2021

House is better than described along with the location. Plenty to do. Suggest getti.g some fresh shrimp to keep kids busy fishing off the dock, lots of action! Pool was nice, but could have been cleaned before arriving, they did come toward the end of the trip, I would suggest adjusting this schedule. House is stocked with anything you could possibly need. Private beach is very nice, would suggest brining bikes or renting a golf cart to make it easier to access. Overall a great experience would highly recommend.  Published Jun 28, 2021

This is a really special location. The house is beautiful and the property views are amazing. We went with our kids ages 2-9 and they had an absolute blast. Pool all day, fishing off the dock, paddle boarding, kayaking, bikes to the beach and cooking in their amazing kitchen and patio. We typically vacation at resorts, but this has us reconsidering. The owners, Bill and Cornyn, were excellent hosts and were incredibly responsive to all our texts. Enjoy!

We had a fun, and relaxing, week at this wonderful home located on a beautiful and lively cove just off the river. We had no problem docking our boat and enjoyed our evening visits from the manatee and dolphin that call the cove home. The house was very well stocked, and the communication with the owners was top notch. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable, and we were happy during our stay.  Published Apr 18, 2021

We had a wonderful stay at Beagle Point. The house is beautiful and very well stocked. The location of the house puts you at the end of the neighborhood so you feel secluded, and the backyard is perfectly private looking out onto the river. We couldn’t believe how many dolphins and manatees we say daily. They came close enough to the dock to touch...be we didn’t lol. We even saw a small shark from the dock. We can’t express enough how much fun it was to see all of these animals. The house is a short drive to the beach and many restaurants and other locations. The pool was perfect for our family and there’s plenty of loungers surrounding it. The owners were very attentive and accommodating. We could tell it was important to them that we enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this house!  Published Apr 16, 2021

We cannot say enough - this place is wonderful. Quiet neighborhood, an incredible view, dolphins, manatees... It is not within walking distance to a town, but it is an easy stroll to the beach (even with kids) and there is plenty within a 20 min car ride. Instacart delivers as well! We LOVED this place, and communication with the owner was top-notch. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing vacation rental

Rhonda L.

Our stay at Beagle Point was wonderful. This home is exactly what we were looking for in a vacation home. The photos on the website do NOT do this home justice. It is much more beautiful in person.

We booked this home solely because it had a private pool on waterfront. We were shocked when we walked inside to see how beautifully decorated and fully equipped the home was. If you are staying here you only need to pack a swimsuit and bring a fishing pole.

We were a group of 11, 7 adults and 4 children ranging from 5-8years old. The house was perfect for everyone. We never once left to eat out, everything was cooked in the amazing kitchen (that has MORE than you will ever need). We took a short ride over to the beach a few times, but mostly stayed in the pool or on the dock fishing. Our kids saw dolphins and manatee every single day. We caught a hammerhead shark, tons of other types of fish, crabs, and even a seahorse.

I could go on and on about this rental. My advice to you is BOOK THIS PROPERTY! You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back. Bill was an absolute pleasure to work with and made us all feel so welcome. Thank you Bill!

House was exactly as advertised and exactly what our family needed for a great vacation

Amy H. - Portland, Oregon

Sometimes you stay at a house that doesn’t have quite enough of things, like towels or silverware. This home has plenty of everything for our group of 10. The view was amazing, the beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, even a crockpot. Everyone in the family wants to return next year. Wonderful spot for a wonderful family reunion vacation

Karlene and Dan C. - Ijamsville, MD

Every year we take our grandchildren and their parents on a vacation, usually to a spot in Florida. This year we were lucky enough to find Beagle Point in Melbourne Beach. The house was BEAUTIFUL. It was big enough to accommodate 6 adults and 5 kids with plenty of room left over. The kitchen was stocked with every cooking utensil known to man, plenty of silverware, more towels than needed and a beautiful, glorious western view. The kids loved seeing the dolphins and the manatees. My son loved the solitude of the dock at night. The kids loved the pool and the proximity to the ocean. Bill was great to work with and responded quickly to our every need. It was a lovely stay....a lovely experience. Yes...stay here!

Magical Getaway

Jessica L.

We were in town for a softball tournament about 50 mins away. This home was absolutely perfect for 3 families. This paradise was our vacation away from the fields. The house was sparkling clean and had all of the amenities of home. They even supplied some of the essentials that we forgot to bring. I have to say the best part were watching the manatees in the morning around 7:30 and the dolphins at night just after dusk. I've never experienced anything like that and would do it over again. Absolutely wonderful!

Beautiful holiday escape with picturesque views, dolphins and manatees!

Laura H. - Canada

We stayed for 14 days over Christmas and I can’t find the words to express how happy we were with everything this home and the owners had to offer. Dolphins and manatees swim by everyday, birds diving for their daily fish, fish jumping, squirrels dropping in for a few acorns, there is always something to watch. We took the kayaks out twice a day for beautiful and peaceful trips through a few of the different canals. The dolphins were at the dock many times throughout the day chasing fish, playing with the other dolphins. Manatees would pop up for a breath directly beside the dock and they are adorable and massive! This VRBO is perfect. The location is close to all necessities, close enough for a day trip to Cape Canaveral and about 1-1/2 hours to Orlando. Truly the perfect getaway for our family of four (two teenage boys), but could easily fit 3 families! This home is equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen, plus a Weber charcoal grill and propane bbq just out the door on the patio. Thanks again for offering your home to families like ours to make great memories! I hope that one day we can make the trip again! - The Harris’s from the west coast of Canada!

We weren’t missing a thing! We spent most of our time fishing off the dock, kayaking or taking a quick car ride to the beach! We had a wonderful first visit to Melbourne Beach and our family thanks Bill for sharing his home with us! We hope you didn’t freeze all too much while in New York!! Great Home and get away for everyone

Matthew L.

Traveled in late September to Beagle Point, what a nice time of year to travel.

Beagle Point brought three separate groups of adults and kids together from across the states, and we all enjoyed our time at the house.

Everyone was extremely happy with the home and layout of the bed rooms, kitchen, and outside space. We brought our dog along and had no worries because the yard was fenced in. The home and kitchen was very well stocked with household items that we looked for or needed during our stay.

Morning and evening spent on the dock watching dolphins chase fish right to the sea wall and having the manatee swim right next to the dock was something to see. Fishing everyday was a blast and made easy with the dock and kayaks right in the back yard.

Bill the owner and host was very accommodating and any questions or concerns that came up during our trip he was quick to respond

Thank you for opening your home to us, I would certainly return to stay here again

Becky R.

There were 11 of us at Beagle Point, ages 10 months to 67 years and we were all happy! We enjoyed the pool, rode the bikes, used the kayaks multiple times, saw manatees and dolphins swim by and caught a variety of fish right off the dock! The home is beautifully decorated, and full of unexpected extras. The location is ideal - we enjoyed going to the State Park at the Sebastian Inlet which is just 10 minutes away. Beagle Point is an absolutely perfect getaway for a family or several couples!!!!

Great for families and for those who enjoy cooking

Geoff B. - Palmetto Bay

Fantastic home for a family holiday for one or two families (12/13) depending on age of kids. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Adequate towels for pool and bathrooms. Games room is teen heaven with shuffle board, darts, and numerous board games/ cards etc. Gas and coal BBQ great for outdoor grilling. Plenty of pool furniture and outdoor furniture for everyone to be comfortable outside. Bill was quick to respond to all questions and very helpful. We’d recommend this to friends. Views and wildlife are brilliant. Sunsets, manatees, dolphins and fish eagles seen daily. Catch as many small fish off the dock as your patience allows! Not edible but fun for young children. We did a lot of tubing, skiing and wake boarding near the intra coastal and sand bar is cool to hang out at if you have a boat.

Impressive sunsets...perfect for your favorite gatherings

Katherine C.

We had 8 adults for a full week and had plenty of room to stretch out. The kitchen was well stocked with all the condiments and spices necessary for cooking great meals. Pots and pans were high quality. We used the dining room table every night for raucus card games and had plenty of room for all eight players.

The house is located in a quiet area on the River with only a short hop to the beach. It's away from the hustle and bustle of US1 but still close enough to grocery, gas and restuarants that you can keep driving to a minimum.

We went surfing at Sebastian Inlet only a few miles down A1A. The beaches were quiet and beautiful. Being able to come back from a day at the beach and jumping into the refreshing pool was a big plus.

We set up a water badminton net (not provided by homeowner) and played every afternoon.

The sunets were SPECTACULAR! The manatees and dolphin were out every morning...sometimes coming back to top off the beautiful sunsets.

My husband and I use rental homes quite a bit and are not always satisfied with our accommodations but this topped the charts! Bill was easy to talk to and answered all of our questions. The house was clean with plenty of fresh towels and linens.

The back yard was perfect for our small dogs. They loved barking at the boats as they drove by our dock. The little lizards and squirrels kept them busy all day.!

Absolutly would reccommend to all.

This beautiful updated home includes pool, setting on Indian River Lagoon and breathtaking views.

Well-appointed home was perfect for our family, offering comfortable living inside and many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. We sat and read on the dock, socialized around the pool, kayaked on the lagoon and swam at the nearly private beach just minutes away. Perfect setting in a quiet neighborhood, on the lagoon, minutes away from the beach and close enough to shopping and restaurants when needed. We loved Beagle Point!

An amazing place to stay!

We were a party of 13, 3 adult siblings and a sister in law, plus 9 first cousins ranging in age from 12 to 20. The house was absolutely perfect for our group. As it sleeps 13, every bed was fully occupied but somehow the place was just the right size to accommodate us all perfectly.

Some highlights, in no particular order: 1. the kayaks (there are 2) that you can use freely on the river. 2. the dolphins and manatees that show up in the river outside your door. 3. the pool, nice and cool (even in July) and plenty deep on one side. 4. the common area of the house which consisted of the living room with big couch and chairs for lounging in, the large dining table which could accommodate 8-10, the breakfast bar. It was great to see the various cousins hanging - we don't live that close to each other so this just made our holiday. 5. The kitchen and it's supplies as we did lots of eating at the house because taking 13 people out for meals is a bit unruly, slow and not cheap. 6. The turtle we saw laying it's eggs on the beach one night. 6. The local beaches which are pristine and the water is gloriously warm. You can go to Cocoa beach which is bit more crowded or any of the beaches in between which are amazing and a lot less crowded. 7. The bikes if you are feeling up for a ride. 8. Our host Bill. He was extremely responsive. We managed to do something to the TV on day 1 and couldn't get it to work. I texted him and he got back to me right away and we were able to get it fixed in no time. Overall an amazing holiday that was only made more amazing because of the beautiful Beagle Point house we fortunately chose for our vacation home. Thanks Bill, we had an amazing time and your home is fabulous!

First time to vacation in Melbourne Beach

We stayed a week at Beagle Point in late June 2017.Party of 8, The house is very user friendly. Great Kitchen for cooking. We used it only for breakfast and lunch and dined out each nite for dinner.nice pool area and great dock for fishing. Loved watching the wildlife appear thruout the day. Manatee, dolphins, otters and flying fish. Very easy to fish from the deck. Enjoyed using the beach the most. No one around .very private and well maintained .

Very easy to communicate with the owner should issues arise. Two miles from a Publix grocery store and gas station. Would certainly recommend this property for anyone wanting a laid back week.

Paradise!

We loved every moment of our stay at Beagle Point. The setting is magnificent with the inland waterway at your fingertips for watching bird life, dolphins and manatees. It was wonderful to explore the mangroves in the kayaks and an added bonus to have bikes to ride over to the nearby beach for swimming and walking. The owners were amazing and answered any questions within moments. The house itself is fabulous with lots of great seating areas and a fully stocked kitchen. We loved eating meals out on the dock and watching the sunset in the evening. It is no surprise we hope to go back next year.

Westside waterfront, amazing dock, complementary kayaks and bikes, extensive cooking tools, apple tv!!

Beagle Point has a perfect location letting you enjoy fantastic panorama sundowns with the nature at your doorstep to the west and a very nice neighborhood to the East. The Atlantic ocean is roaring in just 3/5 mile(1km) away to the East, and are accessible by using the complemantary bikes. It is absolutely a must to take one of the complementary kayaks out in the waterways in the dawn and experience the absolute silence and enconter the awakening wildlife before you take your morning coffee at the amazing dock and wait for the rest of the house to wake up.

Bills way of communicating with you makes you feel like a house guest rather than ”just” a renter. If there are any problems Bill and Corynn will answer your call, text or email within hours. The property has everything you will be needing for your stay + some more You can connect to their apple tv and play your own music, both inside and outside... The property is very well looked after ....actually nothing feels like a rental property. Bill and Corynn have done an excellent job regarding the coloursheme of rustic and worn wood, diesel blue, turquoise and just the right amount of steel grey and black. Looks very international combined with their choice of mixed styles furniture and lamps. (simply the best interior I have seen in any rental property so far)

The manual with activity tips, restaurant advice and ratings is the most extensive I have seen and will help you explore the local food scene...enjoy. We where two Swedes and a Norwegian renting the property , while commuting 1,5 hours to Orlando every day. It was absolutely worth it , we ended up using the local restaurants every day...... if you want your stay in Orlando to be twice as big with a pleasant reality contrast ......do rent this property.

Thanks Bill and Corynn.....I will be back.

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property!

The owners are so helpful and friendly! They were always accessible and answered all of my questions before we even arrived! My family could not get enough of sitting out on the dock every morning and watching the Manatees and Dolphins swim by...we were even lucky enough to watch 2 River Otters play right in front of us! What a treat! We loved being able to kayak and explore as well. The beaches were gorgeous and we never felt crowded on them. Surf lessons were a hit! Even though there is so much to enjoy outside, being able to come back to such a tastefully decorated home was lovely! The kitchen is a gathering spot with room for a good sized group. We stayed in and cooked many of our meals. I would full heartedly recommend this home for a vacation of a lifetime!

Truly a Home

My wife and I have used vacation rental homes in a few places with great success. Bahamas, Cape Hatteras, Folly Beach, SC. and other spots in Florida. All have been GREAT houses set up mostly as vacation rentals with limited furnishings and supplies. You know the type, bicycles but a bit rusty, patio furniture but a bit worn, inside furniture that looks second hand, Art bought at the flea market. Just kinda what you expect in a vacation income property. Boy was this different. It was very obvious this was not a vacation rental but someones dream HOME that we were lucky enough to be able and share for a week. Perfect quiet location on the water with a great view, recently remodeled with the most modern appliances, kitchen, furniture and all the furnishings. Oh almost forgot one of the most important features for me was the excellent dock 30' from the back doors to keep the boat for the week. This is an wonderful area to boat for pleasure or fishing. I would give the HOME a six star if I could.

-- Mark W. September 2016

Simply the very best

You will lack for nothing. The house is large, spacious and decorated with taste. There is somehow seating and furniture for a large group to gather and dine or lounge and yet the spaces are uncluttered. The two easy chairs at the bay side window soon became my go to spot. The covered dock is fantastic, well bumpered and the tide only moves a few inches so leaving your boat docked is a simple worry free affair. Honest Johns Fish Camp is a stones throw away and could not have been more accommodating or friendly. The kids would paddle-board and Kayak over every other day, rain or shine for fresh bait. The rooms are well appointed, the beds are soft. The game room is awesome with darts and shuffleboard. I was happy to find a Weber kettle outside just like I use at home so I didn't have to learn a new grill. And speaking of cooking, no expense was sparred in the outfitting of the kitchen. It will make you WANT to cook. The place is spotless and well maintained. I cannot recommend it enough. Close by attractions we discovered are the the Old Fish House across the river, great food and service and very reasonable pricing. Just don't count on them having gas for your boat when you need it. And Tree Top Trek at the Brevard Zoo is a zip line / challenge course combo that is worth every penny. Plan on spending 1/2 a day and needing a few Advil when completed. Book Beagle Point, you wont be sorry.

-- John C. August 2016

Very Accommodating

Many meals were prepared in the efficiently stocked chef's kitchen. There are plenty of high quality kitchen utensils and cookware. The oven is awesome. The chef's kitchen was a big deal for our family because we like to cook and eat in. We saw many manatees, dolphins and aquatic birds from the dock and took may pictures from the beautiful backdrop of the river. There are 2 kayaks on the property. My daughter took one out and encountered a pod of manatees that splashed her pretty well. But she thought it was the most awesome thing ever!! There were sand dollars everywhere, everyday and had the beach to ourselves at Bonsteel Park. One day at the beach, 3 manatees swam close to shore. We enjoyed Beagle Point and the beach so much, we didn't get around to doing all the other stuff we wanted to do.

Great house and view

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Beagle Point with our children and grandchildren. There was something for everyone to do whether it was lounging by the private pool, hanging out or fishing and crabbing at the dock, kayaking, paddleboarding, or the favorite of everyone, watching the numerous manatees and dolphins which came so close to the dock that you could almost reach out and touch them. The property was spacious, very clean and well maintained with comfortable furniture. The kitchen was large enough for several people at one time and equipped with top of the line appliances and equipment. It had absolutely everything needed to prepare meals for a large family. There was an abundant supply of kitchen, bathroom and bedroom linens, and lots of beach towels. The owners were a pleasure to work with and did everything they could to make sure we had an enjoyable time. We would definitely recommend Beagle Point for all ages.

Great House , Great Location

The house is great, lots of room, very clean, great dock out back to relax on. Kitchen is great and fully equipped. The house is in an area that is protected if you want to paddle board or kayak, It is LOADED with manatees. One knocked me off my board and I landed in a pod of 12 of them and they went crazy! I had my boat there for the weekend. I launched at Honest John's Fish Camp that's a stones throw away. It is shallow around this area but I didn't have any trouble and the guy at the ramp showed me the way in and out. I kept my trailer there for 4 days and he charged me $10.00 including launch fee. The dock at the house was fine and it has a nice covered deck to hangout on. Lots of Mangrove Snapper and Catfish to keep the kids busy. You're a short boat ride from Capt. Hiram's for dinner or The Old Fish House Marina and Bar. That is directly across the river. To anyone thinking about staying here for a relaxing and chill vacation I would highly recommended it. I did not deal with the owner but my buddy did and said he was great. This area is kind of out the enough away from real life but close if you need it.

Best VRBO we've had the pleasure of renting

Bill and Coryn have thought of everything!!!! As a fellow VRBO owner, we spend all our vacations visiting new places via other VRBO properties. This one is at the top of our list for a rare return...we really enjoyed our stay, that much!!!! As a native Floridian, it's tough to impress myself, the wife and kids w/ wildlife and nature but this home in middle of it all. Our family lost count of the dolphin and manatee after a few days....they 'd cruise by the dock so often that we found ourselves taking it for granted! It was beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and had everything at the home that you could think of as well as being impeccably clean. After being tired from paddle boarding/kayaking the "jungle like"mangroves, we headed over to the beach just 2 minutes away and relaxed in the crystal clear blue waters of the Atlantic ocean. Thanks for sharing your awesome slice of paradise w/ us!!!!

The home was perfectly set up for our large family with plenty of space and awesome amnenities.

We had a great time. The house is incredible. Great layout and having the river right out back provided plenty of entertainment. Whether watching dolphins and manatees or just fishing. We certainly would stay at this home again and the owners were wonderful to work with.

Great Place to Stay

This is a lovely location on the river. The home is well laid out for a family or friends to share. The kitchen is large with all updated appliances making it a pleasure to prepare our meals. The rooms throughout the home are also very spacious and bright with many windows to enjoy the view of the river and lush vegetation. It was very relaxing to sit by the dock and watch the sunset and dolphins swimming by. You can lazy by the pool or head to the nearby beach to relax. Awesome experience, beautiful home, thank you! Great Florida Getaway, Close to Beaches and right on the Indian River

This home is a great home for a Flordia getaway. The property is right on the Indian River, beautiful views of the mangroves and lots of wildlife to see, especially birds and dolphins. The pool is a great place to swim and relax in if you don't go to the beach, which is very close and easy to get to. The house is specatular, clean, good floor plan and recently updated. The home includes all of the needed amenities and the beds are very comfortable. This property is a great spot for a Florida family vacation!

Gorgeous Home and Perfect Visit

Beautiful property and a stunning location. Right on a quiet point on the Indian River. We saw dolphins and manatees and enjoyed unbelievable sunsets on the dock. Close, close, did I mention close to the beach--just a short bike ride! The house is immaculate and recently renovated. Top notch!
